Andreyev Acoustics Institute

 
Established in 1953, Acoustics Institute has leading role in researching of sound propagation in the ocean and analyzing oceanic noises of different origin. Currenty Acoustics Institute is developing and manufacturing world-class equipment for geological survey, underwater works, search and navigational purposes, as well as security systems.

CEO and Scientific Director: Gladilin Alexey Viktorovich

Graduated from Moscow Technological University in 1996 with Master’s degree in Acoustics Engineering.

Became Candidate of Sciences in 2000, and PhD later in 2010 with research in the following area: “Physical fields of a ship, ocean and atmosphere, and interaction between them”.

Worked as Head of Department in Moscow Technological University from 2007 to 2012.

CEO and Scientific Director in Acoustics Institute since 2009.

Awarded with a Certificate of Honor by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade in 2012.

Has more than 100 published scientific works, including 50 invention patents and 1 monograph.

Participates in several dissertational and expert councils, editorial boards of scientific journals.

Works as a Vice President of Russian Acoustics Community.
